LGBTQ nightlife in Los Angeles is incredibly diverse and offers something for everyone. Whether you want to check out the multitude of best-known hotspots in West Hollywood, explore the historic Silver Lake area, or feel the energy of Downtown LA, there's something for everyone no matter what type of night out you're looking for. The gay scene in each area of the city has a unique feel, from the variety of venues offered in Downtown to the cool and artsy buzz of Venice. From stylish bars to kinky clubs, you're spoiled for choice.
Brighton has a vibrant gay scene that draws members of the community from across the country. Its gay cafes and bars are thriving, and luckily for you they're all in one place! in Kemp Town is home to almost all the gay bars, clubs, and everything social, from traditional pubs to a host of gay saunas. The bars in this area tend to attract a diverse crowd, but some attract larger proportions of specific groups so you can be sure you find your new favourite place to hang out and have fun on any night of the week.
There are plenty of places for a drink here in Vancouver at any time of the day, particularly in the queer areas. The main gay scene on Davie Street may be small but its packed full of energy and has a thriving nightlife. There’s always a party and a dance floor waiting for you every night of the week. If late nights aren’t so much your thing, then day drinking and people watching are also popular pastimes here, so you’ll find a number of bars and pubs with their patios open for a social drink during the day.
While you'll struggle to find a Lisbon bar that doesn't welcome LGBTQ+ travellers, most of the dedicated gay bars can be found in the neighbouring areas of Principe Real and Bairro Alto. The street at the heart of it is Bairro Alto where you'll find crowds of gays hanging out and drinking in the street late at night, since bars and clubs here are busiest around midnight and the early hours. These atmospheric streets come to life after dark, letting you party till morning and explore a diverse range of venues from traditional pubs to decidedly more modern cruise clubs.

The popular shops, cafes and restaurants of Monckebergstrasse are a 7-minute walk away. Binnenalster Lake is 100 m from the Barcelo, providing a beautiful jogging route. The hotel is also convenient for the Jungfernstieg and Neuer Wall shopping areas.
5* Hotel Continental
Oslo
The elegant Hotel Continental is centrally located in Oslo, only 150 m from Oslo's main street, Karl Johan. It is the only 5-star hotel in Norway, and offers free in-room Internet access.

This gay friendly hotel boasts an on-site restaurant and offers spacious rooms with a flat-screen TV and living area. Complimentary fitness class passes are available at the front desk.
Every room at Hotel Deluxe features warm colors and traditional decor. Guests can enjoy the property's signature Well & Fit kit in their room, which includes a yoga mat, resistance bands, weights, core ball, and a tablet pre-loaded with fitness videos. The Marine Tavern
Brighton
This is a small and friendly gay pub in the heart of Brighton's Gay Village. It's a fairly traditional place whose small bar space is packed with regulars every Saturday night and still busy throughout the week. The owners host a quiz and curry night every Tuesday arrange other themed events as well. For many regulars, the highlight of the week if the great value Sunday roast served at The Marine Tavern every week.
Chessa
Torremolinos
A cosy bar in La Nogalera, popular with an older crowd who enjoy the friendly atmosphere and well priced drinks. If you're lucky, then the owner will become his drag alter ego and entertain with an impromptu show, or there are regular shows from Miss Dolores each Saturday. A nice choice to get together with old friends and new.
Boatslip Resort & Beach Club
Provincetown
Boatslip is a world-renowned destination for LGBTQ+ travellers. This legendary hotel on the beachfront in the heart of the gay scene is home to the iconic Tea Dance, a lively afternoon dance party that's known across the world - daily 16:00-19:00 in high season. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can head to the bar and sundeck. The hotel itself features a heated pool and a spacious sundeck with deck chairs where you can sit back, enjoy the music, and sample delicious grilled food and fresh salads. Friendly bartenders serve refreshing summer cocktails. Check for specific opening times.
