The 1960s were pivotal years in the African American struggle for civil rights and social equality in the United States. Join us for an exploration of two key moments in Civil Rights history, the Selma to Montgomery voting rights march and the burning of the Freedom Riders bus in Anniston, Alabama, through photographs and artifacts featured in the Museum’s current special exhibition, The Fight for Civil Rights in the South.
