Gin & Jazz

Gin & Jazz
Quiet Warlock Quartet is putting a spell on Gin & Jazz Thursday, June 17th from 7:30pm - 9:30pm in The Rainbow Alley outside of Tracks. The Quiet Warlock Quartet is a newly formed group that blends Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Soul to create a magical atmosphere. Powerful spells and incantations that will have you dancing and head nodding the night away. What new innovations will bubble out of the cauldron next? About Gin & Jazz: Gin & Jazz is a community-driven Jazz Series that champions and celebrates artists who embody and carry forth the Five Points jazz legacy in modern-day Mile High. The Series centers around supporting local community musicians and ensembles who embody and champion the historic "Harlem of the West," culture from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. We are proud to team up with Tracks and Ageof.Us to help us shed light on the city’s historic Jazz legacy and continue this series through the summer! We are so grateful to team up with Hendrick’s Gin this summer to help us support our artists! Check out our Artist Appreciation Menu with some specialty cocktails when you join us at the shows. In addition, to live music and drinks, we've also compiled a Five Points Resources page that is accessible to attendees via QR code at the shows. This page will help us share the storied past of the Five Points neighborhood with integrated resources, materials, and articles. We will also be donating 15% of our proceeds from each show to a community organization/nonprofit that aligns with the values and mission of this series. For June, we're teaming up with The Welton Street Renaissance Project, which seeks to bring more public art and music to the Welton Street Corridor in Five Points and continue the legacy of it as the Harlem of West. Tickets are $20 per show and there is a two-drink minimum. Show: 7:30pm - 9:30pm Last Call: 2am
