4* Sol Barbacán
A favourite with the GayMapper team, the Sol Barbacan has a great location just 5 minutes walk from the Yumbo centre, yet is set in lush green gardens, giving a great feeling of getting away from it all. You have a choice of apartments in the main building with balconies large enough for two sun loungers, or bungalows in the gardens, each with a private rooftop sun terrace.
There are three pools, one of which is adults only and also has a hot tub. There's a restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and light meals can be taken poolside for lunch.
