Queer History Panel

Queer History Panel
#ChooseYourPride is a way to expand our understanding of queer celebration and the queer community. Pride doesn’t look the same for each community member and we recognize that celebrating Pride means many things to many people. Maybe it’s celebrating on a COVID-friendly dance floor, maybe it’s reading a book, maybe it’s sharing family-friendly all-ages programming or attending an educational workshop! Whatever Pride means to you, you can #ChooseYourPride. For more information, please visit All Vancouver Pride events take place on unceded, occupied, traditional and ancestral territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw {Squamish), and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. We realize that the work we are able to do could not happen without the wisdom and intelligence of the two-spirit people and organizations that have taught us, stuck with us, and led us through organizational changes to better serve our LGBTQAI2S+ communities. We hold our hands up to thank them for their brilliance, resilience, patience and strength. DESCRIPTION: Learn + grow with Pride! We’re presenting the second iteration of Queer History Panel.
