Cologne is a large city situated on the River Rhein in Germany and is best known for its impressive Cathedral that survived WW2 and Kölsch beer. It also has a large and thriving gay scene, probably second only in Berlin to Germany. Benefitting from year round sunshine and good weather, Gran Canaria has been one of the most popular gay holiday destinations for many years. One of the Spanish Canary Islands, Gran Canaria is located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Africa. The gay life on the island is centred around the tourist resorts of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas on the southern coast, notable for the famous sand dunes of Maspalomas. Bassa Rodona is the main gay beach where you can relax with crowds of other tourists, but there are also nude beaches such as Balmins if that’s your thing. Denver the true LGBTQ+ hub for the West, with welcoming locals and plenty of fun places to explore. Most of the hotels and restaurants welcome LGBTQ visitors who come here from across the country and from overseas. Denver's popularity means it has a lively gay nightlife scene, welcoming gay neighbourhoods, gay friendly places to shop and dine across the city, and plenty of annual pride events that draw huge crowds. Fort Lauderdale
